This app does a great job identifying the name of every plant. But then you have to research the details about that plant later by separate means (which is a tiny pain in the neck).

Does an amazing job at identifying plants. However, there is a glitch that makes it unable for me to take pictures directly on the app. I have to take pictures using the camera app, then move it from my gallery to PlantNet. Hope this issue gets resolved soon.

It has always identified plants. Sometimes there are options so I am not 100% sure of the plants when that happens

This is the best app I have found. It is consistent when I get in a plant. Some of the other apps come up with different names. Every time I sign in the same picture picture picture one of them is Plantn so don’t go there. thank you plant net.

Super great app, Best free one I could find. It works well on most things but you need to have a really plain background or it will focus on that. When you take a photo to ID you have to give it a label (Leaf, Flower, Fruit, Bark, Habitat, or other) but none of those will help me ID mushrooms! Please add a Fungi button!

Especially helpful when identification of leaves or bark is needed.

I really like this app until I had to create an account. I tried many times to create an account and it just kept claiming that I am a robot. Because of this I am now locked out of the app. I am NOT a robot!

Nice app! I love that it’s free, isn’t riddled with ads, and gives out accurate results. I was able to identify a strawberry tree plant, a turkey oak tree, and mustard greens.

I really like this app after trying several others. It’s very simple to use. You take a picture and are shown many images of the plant that it might be, with the best match on top. The plants you’ve identified stay in your history.

I’ve been using this app to identify plants around my neighborhood. I’m amazed by the accuracy based on a single picture, down to the specific cultivar. After talking to my neighbors I’ve gotten confirmation that the app is almost always right. Super useful to understand what native pollinators in my area actually look like under local conditions.

I love this app. It is simple and uncomplicated. I have not had an incorrect identification since I downloaded it. My only complaint would be that it will not allow me to create an account. I put in all of my information and it tells me I am a robot. I love the community sharing aspect of this app and would love to join/contribute. I assure you I am not a robot LOL Even with my small complaint this free app is freaking awesome!

I use this app as often as I use any other on my phone. Highly useful, and as far as I can tell it is reasonably accurate.

Always get the right answer on the plants I need to know about. And the info they give about the plants is great!

Keeps telling me my pine cone is "not a plant".

Amazingly precise when it comes to finding a match for the plant in your photo. There are so many other subscription based apps out there, but none of them are as good as this free one!

Can’t create account looked kinda cool to use. Each time I try to create an account it tells me I’m a bot. Someone needs to fix.

Confusing on how to cancel search and go on to another plant.

I sure do love this app! It has been right 99% of the time. That’s amazing. It’s also amazing that it is free. But just like somebody doing you a “solid “in life, you’d probably give them some gas money or throw them a 20 or a 50 for their time right? So, I think it’s only fair that we all throw some coin at PlantNet. I’m about to do just that. But I digress… The ease of using this app, the accuracy, and the ability to share what we learn with each other… Pretty incredible folks. Thank you PlantNet!

Identifies plant but does not tell you how much water it needs or type of soil or amount of sun or nutrients!!!!!
